Nagpaabot ng kaniyang mainit na pagbati si Seaker Martin Romualdez sa mga bagong nakoronahan na monarch ng United Kingdom ng Great Britain at Northern Ireland na sina King Charles III at Queen Consort Camilla.
“Today (Saturday), we celebrate with the people of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and the rest of the world on the coronation of King Charles III and the Queen Consort, his wife, now Queen Camila,” pahayag ni Speaker Romualdez.
Kasalukuyang nasa United Kingdom si Speaker kasama si President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr na naimbitahan sa koronasyon ng hari ng UK.
Ayon pa kay Speaker Romualdez, ” We are deeply honored to be witnesses to an event that is a rare piece of world history, and we pray for a deeper and more meaningful relationship between the Philippines and the United Kingdom for years to come.”
Si King Charles III ang pumalit sa trono na iniwan ng kaniyang ina na si Queen Elizabeth II na pumanaw nuong Setyemre ng nakaraang taon.
Ginanap ang seremonya sa Westminster Abbey sa London na pinangunahan ng pinakamataas na Church official sa England ang Archbishop ng Canterbury.

May His and Her Majesty’s reign be guided by faith, love, integrity and equality, following in the footsteps of Queen Elizabeth, whose long and fruitful rule was described as ‘era-defining.’” wika ni Speaker Romualdez.
Sa pagdating ng Pangulong Marcos sa London, nagkaroon ito ng oportunidad na ikutin ang London Gatwick Airport kung saan kumukuha ng mga ideya ang Pangulo para mai-aply din ito sa paliparan ng Pilipinas.
Nakipagkita din ang Pangulo kay G. Bayo Ogunlesi, chairman ng US-based Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), isang kumpanya na nagpahayag na mag invest sa Pilipinas partikular sa energy, transportation at digital infrastructure.
