Mas mababang bilang pa ng bagong COVID-19 cases ang iniulat ng Department of Health (DOH) ngayong araw. Umabot lang sa 1,987 additional confirmed cases ang ni-report ng ahensya, bunga ng sinubmit na datos ng 91 mula sa 113 na laboratoryo.
Ang total ngayon ng COVID-19 cases sa bansa ay aabot na sa 228,403. Mula rito, 65,240 pa ang nagpapagaling.
Of the 1,987 reported cases today, 1,627 (82%) occurred within the recent 14 days (August 21 – September 3, 2020). The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were NCR (657 or 40%), Region 4A (347 or 21%) and Region 6 (151 or 9%).”
Samantala, 880 na dagdag recoveries din ang inireport ng DOH. Ang total ng mga gumaling ay nasa 159,475 na. Habang 65 ang additional sa total deaths na ngayon ay nasa 3,688.
“There were 24 duplicates that were removed from the total case count. Of these, 12 recovered cases have been removed.
“Moreover, there were three (3) cases that were previously reported as
recovered but after final validation, they were deaths.”
