Wala pa umanong balak sa ngayon si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ibalik ang operasyon ng Small Town Lottery (STL) na una nitong sinuspinde dahil sa korupsyon.
Sinabi ni Pangulong Duterte, pinag-iisipan pa nito kung paano maibabalik at maiiwasan ang korupsyon lalo sa bidding ng prangkisa ng STL.
Kasabay nito, hinikayat ni Pangulong Duterte ang mga pulis at sundalo na huwag silang mangamba o matakot na sumali sa STL operations basta huwag lamang gagamitin ang poder o pwesto para dayain o manipulahin ang bidding.
Pinayuhan din ni Pangulong Duterte ang mga pulis na kung kukuha ng STL franchise, sa labas ng kanilang area of responsibility bilang delicadeza.
