Inutusan ni Indonesian President Joko Widodo ang miyembro ng kaniyang gabinete na paglingkuran ng maayos ang kanilang foreign investors.

Ito ay matapos isiwalat ng World Bank na ilang Chinese companies sa Indonesia ang inililipat na ang kanilang operasyon sa mga karatig bansa dahil sa umano’y mabagal na pagkilos ng Indonesia sa nangyayaring trade war sa pagitan ng US at China.

“The World Bank told us two months ago that, from 33 Chinese companies that were exiting (the market), 23 chose Vietnam while the other 10 went to Malaysia, Thailand, and Cambodia. No one came to us,” saad ni Jokowi.

“Please underline this, we need to be aware that we have a problem that we need to solve,”

“To all the ministers, please serve them. Accompany them until (their investments) are realised. Don’t act like bureaucrats, demanding to be sevred,” dagdag ng Indonesian president.

Binigyang-diin din ni Jokowi ang parehong nangyari sa kanilang bansa noong 2017 kung saan 73 Japanese firms ang naghahanap na ng bagong malilipatan ng kanilang mga negosyo.
