The Cleveland Cavaliers are hopeful for a green light to reopen their team’s practice facility on May 8, US time, in bid to keep their players in shape.

Cavs are among the few teams who will join the said move made by the NBA.

Although the practice facilities will be limited to a number of players, teams are looking forward to it after the NBA went season suspension due to the current pandemic coronavirus virus hitting the country.

Contrary to the Cavaliers, the Los Angeles Lakers will not participate on the reopening date according to head coach Frank Vogel.

He added that the team will look for the development of the situation before making a decision.

Meanwhile, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will spearhead a call for all players to discuss the matter for their own safety.
