New PNP chief Lt. Gen. Camilo Cascolan

Inanunsyo ni Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Sec. Eduardo Año na pinirmahan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang appointment ni police Lt. Gen.

Batchmate noon sa Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Sinagtala class of 1986 sina Cascolan at Gamboa.

“The Palace confirms that Police Lt. Gen. Camilo Cascolan has been appointed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to be the new Chief of the Philippine National Police effective tomorrow, September 2, 2020,” bahagi pa ng statement ni Sec. Roque. “We are confident that the incoming Chief of the PNP would continue the significant strides made by his predecessors in making the PNP a professional organization worthy of our people’s trust.”

— with reports from Bombo Reymund Tinaza
