Umakyat pa sa 304,226 ang total ng COVID-19 cases sa Pilipinas, ayon sa Department of Health (DOH).
Batay sa inilabas na case bulletin ng ahensya, nadagdagan pa ng 2,995 ang bilang ng confirmed cases. Anim na laboratoryo ang hindi nakapag-submit kahapon ng kanilang report sa COVID-19 Data Repository System (CDRS). Kabilang dito ang:
- Amosup Seamen’s Hospital
- Daniel O. Mercado Medical Center
- Dr. Jorge P. Royeca Hospital
- Lanao del Norte COVID-19 Testing Laboratory
- Kaiser Medical Center Inc.
- St. Luke’s Medical Center – BGC (GXP)
- St. Luke’s Medical Center – BGC (GXP) and validation.
Mula sa mga bagong kaso ng sakit, 2,694 o 90% ang nag-positibo sa nakalipas na 14 na araw. Pinaka-marami ang galing pa rin sa National Capital Region, Cavite, Bulacan, Batangas at Laguna.
“The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were NCR (956 or 35%), Region 4A (667 or 25%) and Region 3 (344 or 13%).”
Ang bilang naman ng mga nagpapagaling pa ay nasa 46,372. Nabawasan ang bilang na ‘to dahil sa Oplan Recovery program ng ahensya. Dito ikinokonsidera ng recovery ang isang mild at asymptomatic case na hindi lumala ang kondisyon matapos ang higit dalawang linggong isolation.
Kaya naman ang total recoveries ay umakyat din sa 252,510 bunsod ng 19,630 additional recovered cases.
Samantalang, 60 pa ang nadagdag sa death toll na ngayon ay nasa 5,344.
“Of the 60 deaths, 37 occurred in September (62%), 9 in August (15%) 11 in July (18%) 2 in June (3%) and 1 in April (2%). Deaths were from NCR (29 or 48%), Region 4A (6 or 10%), CARAGA (5 or 8%), Region 10 (4 or 7%), Region 3 (3 or 5%), Region 7 (3 or 5%), Region 11 (3 or 5%), Region 5 (2 or 3%), Region 12 (2 or 3%), Region 6 (1 or 2%), Region 9 (1 or 2%), and Region 4B (1 or 2%).”
Ayon sa DOH, 25 duplicates ang kanilang inalis sa total case count. Ang 16 sa mga ito ay recoveries.
“Moreover, 10 cases previously tagged as recovered were reclassified to deaths after final validation.”
