Halos 140,000 na ang kabuuang bilang ng tinamaan ng COVID-19 sa Pilipinas, ayon sa Department of Health (DOH).
Lumalabas kasi sa bagong case bulletin ng ahensya na 2,987 ang bilang ng mga bagong confirmed cases ng sakit. Resulta ito ng submission ng 74 mula sa 99 na laboratoryo. Kaya ang total confirmed cases ngayon ay nasa 139,538 na.
Karamihan ng mga bagong kaso ang naitala dito pa rin sa National Capital Region, Calabarzon at Western Visayas.
Malaking porsyento nito ang nag-positibo sa nakalipas na 14 araw, pero may ibang kaso rin na nadagdag na noon pang Marso, Abril, Mayo at Hunyo nag-positibo.
“Of the 2,987 reported cases today, 1,374 (46%) occurred within the recent 14 days (July 29-August 11, 2020). The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were from NCR (614 or 45%), Region 4A (275 or 20%) and Region 6 (156 or 11%).”
Ang active cases naman o mga nagpapagaling ay nasa 68,794.
Samantalang ang recoveries ay pumalo na sa 68,432 dahil sa 280 na bagong naitalang gumaling. Habang ang total deaths ay 2,312 dahil sa 19 na bagong iniulat na namatay.
“There were eighty-seven (87) duplicates that were removed from the total case count. Of these, four (4) recovered cases have been removed. Moreover, three (3) cases that were previously reported to have recovered have been validated to have died and were included in the count of new deaths.”
