Kinilala ng Civil Service Commission (CSC) ang Supreme Court (SC) bilang pioneer o kauna-unahan na nagpatupad ng digitalized at regionalized professional lincensure examinations sa bansa.
Ito ay ang isinagawang 2022 Bar Examinations.
Sa sulat na mayroong petsang November 8, 2022, hiniling ni CSC Chairperson Karlo A. B. Nograles kay Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo na payagan ang ilang delegasyong ng CSC na obserbahan ang operasyon ng Bar Examinations sa kanilang Command Center sa Ateneo de Manila University.
Sa naturang Command Center mino-monitor ang pagsasagawa ng Bar examinations sa 14 local testing centers sa buong bansa.
Ang parehong sulat ay inendorso ni Chief Justice Gesmundo kay Supreme Court Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin S. Caguioa, na siyang Bar Examinations Chairperson ngayong taon.
“In line with our vision to transition from the conventional pen-and- paper examinations, the Commission plans to introduce digitalized and localized examinations for the CSC-PPT [Civil Service Examinations – Pen and Paper Test] sustaining the momentum of the digital shift pioneered by the Supreme Court….As we transition to this digitalized platform, we would like to request the support of the Supreme Court in a collaborative endeavor for the adoption of policies and methodologies towards this digital shift,” ani CSC Chairperson Nograles sa kanyang sulat.
Sinabi pa ni CSC Chairperson Nograles, maliban sa pag-obserba sa aktuwal na pagsasagawa ng Bar examinations, ang kanilang pagbisita doon ay maituturing na “benchmark” sa procedures at operations para sa formal integration ng best practices ng mga korte sa localized at digitalized civil service examinations.
Una rito, noong 2021 ay ganitong format na rin ng pagsusulit ang ginamit ng Korte Suprema para sa Bar Examination.
Ang Bar Examinations, ay isa sa mga ikonokonsiderang prestihiyosong pagsusulit sa bansa.
