Kinumpirma ng Cavite provincial government na may positibong kaso na ng coronavirus disease (COVID-19) sa lalawigan.
Sa isang online post kinilala ni Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla ang unang kaso na isang lalaki mula Imus City.
Isa raw itong returning seaman na dumaan sa Narita Airport sa Japan at kasalukuyang naka-confine sa Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM).
“The first positive case is a man from Imus. He was a returning sea man who passed through Narita Airport in Japan. He is currently confined at the RITM,” ani Remulla.
Inanunsyo rin ng gobernador na may isang babae na patient under investigation ang naka-confine sa isang pribadong ospital sa loob ng parehong lungsod.
Galing daw ito ng South Korea at nakuhanan na ng samples para sa RITM.
“The second case of a PUI (person under investigation) is a woman confined in a private hospital in imus. She had just arrived from South Korea. Her swab was submitted to the RITM as of 6pm last night. Status will be released hopefully later this afternoon.”
Hinimok ni Remulla ang mga kababayan na sundin ang payo ng Department of Health (DOH) na protocols.
Sa ngayon wala pang kumpirmasyon mula sa DOH hinggil sa announcement ng Cavite provincial government.
