Nadagdagan pa ng dalawa ang bilang ng mga nasawi sa COVID 19 sa Philippine National Police (PNP).
Dahil dito, umabot na sa 112 ang mga nasawi dahil sa COVID 19 infection sa PNP.
Ayon kay PNP Deputy Chief for Administration at ASCOTF commander Police Lt. Gen. Joselito Vera Cruz, si patient 111 ay isang Police Staff Master Sgt na nagkaroon ng acute respiratory failure.
Siya ay bakunado na ng 1st dose ng Covid-19 vaccine.
Habang si patient 112 naman ay isang corporal na mayroong pneumonia.
Siya ay fully vaccinated na nang tinamaan ng COVID 19.
Sinabi ni Vera Cruz, batay sa datos ng Health Service, 184 naman ang nadagdag sa mga tinamaan ng COVID 19 sa PNP as of September 16 habang 254 naman ang mga gumaling.
Sa ngayon, nasa 2, 612 ang Covid-19 active cases sa PNP.
Samantala, tiniyak naman ni PNP Chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar na sapat ang kanilang quarantine facilities, medical supplies para sa mga Covid-infected personnel.
“But we have long anticipated this to happen that is why I issued an order before to our ASCOTF Commander, PLTGEN Joselito M Vera Cruz, to continuously check the status of the quarantine facilities, medical supplies and even our medical personnel to prevent scenarios of us facing shortage of facilities and medical supplies for our own personnel and their dependents,” pahayag ni Eleazar.
Samantala sumampa na sa 124,758 or 56.02 PNP personnel ang fully vaccinated habang nasa 85,877 or 38.56% ang nakatanggap na ng kanilang first dose.
