Higit 3,000 bagong kaso ng COVID-19 ang muling naitala ng Department of Health (DOH) ngayong araw.
Batay sa case bulletin ng ahensya, tumuntong na sa 122,754 ang total ng confirmed COVID-19 cases sa Pilipinas dahil sa 3,379 new cases.
Ang datos ng bagong COVID-19 cases ay naitala mula sa submission ng 89 mula sa 99 laboratoryo sa bansa.
“Of the 3,379 reported cases today, 2,774 (82%) occurred within the recent 14 days (July 25-August 7, 2020). The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were from NCR (1,602 or 58%), Region 4A ( 550 or 20%) and Region 3 (106 or 4%).”
Samantala, ang active cases o mga nagpapagaling ay nasa 53,734. Ang total recoveries naman ay nasa 66,852 dahil sa 96 na bagong naitalang gumaling. Habang 2,168 ang total ng namatay, dulot ng 24 na bagong reported deaths.
“Of the 24 deaths, 1 (4%) in August, 4 (17%) in July, 8 (34%) in June, 8 (34%) in May, 1 (4%) in April, and 2 (8%) in March. Deaths were from Region 7 (14 or 58%), NCR (9 or 38%), and Region 6 (1 or 4%).”
Sa ulat ng DOH, 85 duplicate ang inalis sa total case count, kung saan 58 ang mula sa total recovery at anim sa total deaths.
“Moreover, twenty-three (23) cases that were previously reported to have recovered has been validated to have died and were included in the count of new deaths.”
“These numbers undergo constant cleaning and validation.”
