Tiniyak ng Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) na patuloy silang maging bahagi ng super majority sa sumusuporta kay House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
Ito ang inihayag nina Deputy Speaker Kristine Singson ng Ilocos Sur at Rizal Rep. Michael John Duavit sa isang statement.
Sinabi nina Singson at Duavit na kaisa sila sa mga adhikain na isinusulong ni Romualdez na pagaanin ang buhay ng mga mahihirap nating mga kababayan at magbukas ng mas maraming trabaho.
Ayon pa sa NPC, nagsisimula ng tahakin ng gobyerno ang direksiyon tungo sa pandemic recovery and economic progress ito ay dahil sa effort ng Pangulong Marcos na manghikayat ng mga investors para mamumuhan sa bansa.
“We, in the Nationalist People’s Coalition, recognize the successes that the Marcos administration has accomplished in barely a year in office. We attribute these successes in huge part to Speaker Martin Romualdez, who has worked closely with the President in realizing the administration’s Eight-Point Socio-Economic Agenda,” pahayag ng NPC.
Binati din ng NPC si Pampanga Rep. Aurelio Gonzales Jr. matapos mahalal bilang senior Deputy Speaker kapalit ni Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
Batay sa deskripsyon ng mga mambabatas si Gonzales ay maituturing na “one of the most senior and hard-working House leaders.”
Naniniwala ang NPC na si SDS Gonzales ang best person na makakatuwang ni Speaker Romualdez.
“We are optimistic that SDS Gonzales is the best person to help Speaker Romualdez in galvanizing the multi-partisan support for the country’s recovery from the pandemic and overall economic growth and development,” dagdag pa sa pahayag ng NPC.
