“With the film industry, right now, everything is just frozen. It’s hard for the film industry and not just for the film industry, but the entertainment industry in general,” ani Braxton.
“When it comes to these major releases coming out, they’re being forced to delay until the second half of this year. The film industry would show these movies either electronically, or stream it, or push it back, and I know that a majority of them would like to be pushed back because they want people in theaters seeing these movies, because that’s how they generate revenue. But right now, that’s gonna have to wait, because we have to adhere to this lockdown,” wika ng direktor.
“That’s extremely tough to project. We don’t know when this virus will effectively run its course. Recovery, it’s unclear. If we can somehow miraculously get a cure, the sooner we can begin to transition back to normal, and getting us on the right path to recovery, I think the industry will adapt and respond. This is not gonna end overnight. I think the sooner with a get a clear grasp of what recovery looks like, I think you will see the industry have a plan to get back to work,” pagtatapos ni Braxton.
