Nag-assume na bilang bagong Philippine Army (PA) spokesperson si Lt. Col. Louie Villanueva, epektibo ngayong araw January 19,2018.

Isinagawa ang simpleng Change of Chiefs of Office Ceremony sa Philippine Army headquarters sa Fort Bonifacio.

Pinalitan ni Villanueva si Lt. Col. Ray Tiongson na nakatakdang mag-aral sa Command and General Staff Course sa AFP Command and General Staff College isa sa mga requirements para maging Battalion Commander.

Si Tiongson ay miyembro ng PMA class 1997 habang si Villanueva ay graduate ng Officer Candidate School “Tanikala” Class 11-94.

Si Villanueva ay dating Commanding Officer ng 70th Infantry Battalion, 7th Infantry Division ng Philippine Army.

Hindi na rin bago si Villanueva sa field ng Public Affairs of Civil-Military Operations dahil dati na rin siyang na-assign sa CMO School at naging Assistant Chief of Staff for CMO (OG7) sa Headquarters, Philippine Army.

Si BGen. Danilo Chad Isleta ang ang Army Chief of Staff ang siyang nanguna sa turn-over ceremony.

Bukod sa turn over ng bagong Army spokesperson, nag -assume na rin bilang bagong Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel (OG1,PA) si Col. Allan Hambala, pinalitan niya sa pwesto si Col. Perfecto Peñaredondo ang kasalukuyang Acting Director ng Philippine Army Management Center (APMC.)

Si Hambala ay miyembro ng Philippine Military Academy “Sambisig” Class of 1991.
