Two (2) days before the official opening of the 2nd Belt and Road Forum (BRF) for International Cooperation, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte arrives at the Beijing International Airport in the People’s Republic of China on April 24, 2019.Philippine Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China Jose Santiago Sta. Romana and Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Zhao Jianhua welcome President Duterte upon his arrival.This is the second time that President Duterte shall participate in the Belt and Road Forum. Together with other world leaders and heads of international organizations, the Chief Executive shall attend the thematic forums, high-level meetings, and the Leaders’ Roundtable. Several topics for discussion include policy and financial connectivity, people-to-people connectivity, think-tank exchanges, and economic and trade cooperation.The Philippine leader shall also hold bilateral meetings with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang of China, where they are expected to discuss several areas of cooperation including defense and security, economics and development, and regional and international issues of mutual importance.#ComfortableLifeForAll#PartnerForChange

Nasa China ang pangulo para sa apat na araw na infrastructure forum.

Magsisimula sa Huwebes ang akitibidad ng pangulo kung saan magkakaroon ito ng magkahiwalay na pagpupulong kina Chinese President Xi Jinping at Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.

Hind naman matiyak kung tatalakayin ba ang problema sa pinag-aagawang isla sa South China Sea.
