Kasalukuyang mino-monitor sa pamamagitan ng ibinigay na nurse ang kondisyon ng isang mataas na opisyal ng CPP-NPA-NDF (Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front) na naaresto ng mga tauhan ng Philippine National Police (PNP).
Una nang nakilala ang suspek na si Solome Crisostomo, 64.
Ayon kay PNP chief Lt. Gen Dionardo Carlos, nadakip si Crisostomo bandang alas-10:00 ng umaga nitong nakalipas na Linggo, sa Barangay Mabolo, Malolos City, Bulacan.
Siya ay hinuli ng pinagsanib na puwersa ng National Capital Region Police Office, Police Regional Office 3, Police Regional Office 4A at Special Action Battalion, sa bisa ng warrant of arrest dahil sa kasong rebellion.
Sangkot kasi ito sa mga panggugulo umano sa mga komunidad sa CALABARZON (Cavite-Laguna-Batangas-Rizal-Quezon) at itinuturo ring nasa likod nang pag-ambush sa mga pulis sa Quezon Province noong 2005.
“I am pleased to announce the arrest of Salome Crisostomo Ujano, wanted by the law to stand trial for the crime of rebellion. Let me emphasize that this arrest is, foremost, the result of a lawful implementation of a Warrant of Arrest issued by judicial authorities, and her affiliation with the CPP-NPA-NDF may have been incidental to the criminal case she is accused of,” pahayag pa ni Gen. Carlos.
Si Crisostomo ay mayroong P5 million monetary reward na nakapatong sa ulo kapalit ng kaniyang neutralisasyon.
Sa record ng PNP, si Crisostomo-Ujano ay miyembro daw ng technical staff sa ilalim ng Kilusan sa Larangang Guerilla Luzon/Mayon ng Southern Tagalog Regional Party Committee at miyembro rin ng Kangaroo Court.
“Let me emphasize that the PNP will continue to perform our duty to serve court processes anytime, anywhere and against anyone whom the Court commands us to effect arrest, search or seizure. This is Rule of Law of the highest order that the police is duty bound to enforce,” dagdag pa ni Carlos.
