Patungo na sa bahagi ng Romblon ang bagyong Tonyo ayon sa pinakabagong severe weather bulletin ng PAGASA.
Batay sa 2:00am report ng ahensya, huling nakita ang sentro ng tropical depression sa 90-kilometers silangan ng Romblon, Romblon o 60-kilometers kanluran, hilagang-kanluran ng Masbate City, Masbate.
“Tonyo is forecast to move rapidly westward within the next 12 hours and its center is likely to pass close or over the vicinity of Romblon, and Mindoro Provinces.”
Bumagal ang pagkilos ng bagyo patungong kanluran sa 20-kilometers per hour at pagbugso na nasa 70-kilometers per hours. Pero nanatili ang lakas ng hangin nito sa 45-kilometers per hour.
Nakataas pa rin ang paalala ng ahensya sa mga residente ng mga lugar na malapit sa flood at landslide prone areas.
“Moderate to rough seas (1.5 to 3.5 m) due to Tonyo and the prevailing easterlies will be experienced over the seaboards of areas under TCWS #1 and the eastern seaboards of Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and the northern portion of Quezon. “
“The Northeast Monsoon will be bringing moderate to rough seas (2.0 to 3.0 m) over the seaboards of Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Norte, and Ilocos Sur and the northern seaboard of mainland Cagayan.”
Ang Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 ay nakataas pa rin sa mga lugar na binanggit sa 11:00pm report ng ahensya.
