On the spot drug testing na isinagawa sa mga police generals habang ongoing ang isinagawang command conference.
Kabilang sa mga sumailalim sa on the spot drug test ay mga miyembro ng Command Group, Directorial Staff, Regional and National Support Unit Directors.
Ayon kay PNP Chief Gen. Archie Francisco Gamboa ang isinagawang drug testing ay hindi lamang para madetermina na manatili sila sa kanilang pwesto ang mga PNP commanders kundi patunay ito sa sinseridad ng PNP para linisin ang kanilang hanay ng mga rogue cops na siyang inaasam ng Pang Rodrigo Duterte.
“This drug testing not only determines the fitness of PNP Commanders to stay in their posts. But more importantly, manifests the sincerity of the PNP to cleanse its own ranks according to the desire of President Rodrigo R Duterte,” pahayag ni Gamboa.
Sinabi naman ni PNP Spokesperson BGen. Bernard Banac ang PNP Crime Laboratory ang siyang nag administer ng drug testing.
