Due to the continuous rise of COVID-19 cases, the NBA decided to elevate its protocols to provide more safety for everyone.
The Chicago Bulls suspended their two games after ten players were ruled under the safety protocols of the Association, and such a scenario is what the league doesn’t want to happen.
Thus, more frequent usage of facemask is being imposed. Players should wear a mask for all the team’s activities except when playing.
Mandatory testing before game days will also be implemented starting December 26.
Booster shots are also being encouraged as those who received their additional shot for 14 days will be exempted from the testing.
This is a significant development in the US as other pro leagues are starting to get back to normalcy again.
