Tiniyak ni dating Pangulo at ngayo’y deputy Speaker at Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo na suportado nito si Speaker Martin Romualdez.
Ito’y kahit hindi kasama ang panganlan nito sa mga author ng House Resolution No.1414 “Upholding the Integrity and Honor of the House of Representatives and Expressing Appreciation, Solidarity and Support to the Leadership of Speaker Martin Romualdez” na pinagtibay ng Kamara sa pagbubukas ng sesyon ngayong araw.
Sa mensahe na ipinadala ng Office ni Rep. Arroyo, sinabing suportado nito ang liderato ni Romualdez.
Nabatid na nasa labas ng bansa ang dating Pangulo kaya wala ito sa sesyon kaninang hapon.
” Former President and now Deputy Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is currently out of the country. However, as she always said, she continue to support the leadership of Speaker Romualdez,” mensahe na ipinadala ng Office ni Rep. Gloria Arroyo.
Ang nasabing hakbang ng Kamara ay bunsod sa mga kritisismo na natatanggap nito matapos napagdesisyunan na i-realign ang confidential funds ng ilang ahensiya ng gobyerno.
