Floyd Mayweather Jr., made sure to fire at Conor McGregor on social media after the UFC superstar announced his retirement.
The 50-0 boxer commented on an Instagram photo by McGregor, a cake with lettering “Happy Retirement Daddy.”
The two athletes fought in a mega-fight back in 2017 where Mayweather won via knockout.
McGregor, after his failure boxing debut, made his comeback on the UFC by destroying Donald Cerrone in just 40 seconds of the first round before announcing his another retirement.
With that being said, Mayweather fired on his rival.
“If I’m not mistaken, didn’t you tell Mike Tyson you could beat me if we fought a second time? Now you’re quitting! I thought you wanted to beat the best? Well, if you decide to come back, I will be waiting to punish you again,” he wrote.
However, McGregor did not detailed his reason for retiring.
