LeBron James is not near retirement yet, but he already knows his plan: to own an NBA expansion team in Las Vegas.

This was after the Los Angeles Lakers played a preseason game against the Phoenix Suns. Despite losing the match, James was pretty much satisfied by the energy in the arena.

“It’s the best fanbase in the world and I would love to bring a team here at some point,” the four-time NBA champion said.

He even mentioned NBA Commissioner Adam Silver after citing his intention to own an NBA team.

This may not be shocking to everybody, as he already talked about it in one of The Shop: Uninterrupted episodes.

Earlier, Silver denied the rumors of two expansion teams coming after the 2024 season, but he is aware that the league will add teams in the long term.
