ILOILO – Pabor ang League of the Municipalities of the Philippines na isailalim sa General Community Quarantine ang Iloilo kahit na ito ay nasa low-risk area.
Sa eksklusibong panayam ng Bombo Radyo Iloilo kay San Enrique Mayor Trixie Fernandez, Presidente ng League of Municipalities of the Philippines – Iloilo Chapter, sinabi nito na hindi pa handa ang karamihan sa Local Government Units sa pagpapatupad sa minimum public health measures na kalauna’y maging dahilan pa ng 2nd wave ng Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Inihayag ni Fernandez na problema rin ng ilang Local Government Unit ang kakulangan sa mass testing at bago pa man ang anunsyo ng Department of the Interior and Local Government hinggil sa General Community Quarantine sa low risk areas, may resolusyon na ang League of the Municipalities of the Philippines – Iloilo Chapter.
Sa ngayon, hinihintay na lang ang Executive Order ni Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor may kinalaman sa direktiba ng National Inter-Agency Task Force.
