MANILA – Sumampa na sa higit 900,000 ang kabuuang bilang ng mga tinamaan ng pandemic na coronavirus disease (COVID-19) sa Pilipinas.

Ngayong araw nag-ulat ang Department of Health (DOH) ng 11,429 new cases kaya naman umabot na sa 904,285 ang total infections ng bansa sa COVID-19.
“7 labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS) on April 14, 2021.”
Ayon sa DOH, 19.1% ang positivity rate o bilang ng mga nag-positibo mula sa 43,706 na nagpa-test sa COVID-19 kahapon.
Dahil dito muling sumipa sa higit 180,000 o 183,527 ang total active cases. Sila ang mga pasyenteng hindi pa gumagaling sa coronavirus.
Mula sa naturang bilang 96% ang mild cases, 2.8% asymptomatic, 0.30% moderate, 0.5% severe, at 0.4% critical cases.
Nadagdagan naman ng 856 ang total recoveries na nasa 705,164 na.
Habang 148 ang bagong naitalang namatay para sa total deaths na 15,594.
“24 duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 10 are recoveries and 1 is a death.”
“Moreover, 68 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation.”
