“It depends, a lot our experts still say that NCR (National Capital Region) is still the epicenter. And we are seeing hotspots or rise in cases in other areas of the country,” ani Health Usec.
“As to identifying which is the epicenter, our experts instil nandito pa rin (NCR). Although makikita natin yung Cebu nagbo-boom siya ngayon.”
“We’d try to analyze again after maybe two weeks. For now its still NCR and Cebu is just one of those hotspot or areas of specific focus for DOH.”
“Ang aming tinitingnan drivers of tranmission in Cebu, first would be the clustering of cases. Nakita natin yan they started with jails and then the community. Second would be the evident community transmission in the locality, makikita natin yun talagang nasa communities yung kanilang mga kaso sa ngayon at doon talaga tumataas. Third is enforcement, compliant to minimum health standards.”
