“ The House of Representatives, under the leadership of Speaker Faustino “Bojie” G. Dy III, remains firmly committed to transparency, accountability, and constructive engagement among all members of the chamber. The House leadership acknowledges the concerns raised by a few members of the National Unity Party (NUP). The Speaker has consistently maintained an open-door policy for all members— regardless of party affiliation or position—encouraging direct and constructive dialogue. However, it is important to place this issue in proper context. The timing of the release and implementation of budget allocations involves processes and agencies that are beyond the purview of the House leadership.
Amid economic pressures, rising costs, and global uncertainties, it is essential that we continue to work collectively and responsibly. The House remains united in advancing the legislative agenda of the 20th Congress. The Speaker’s directive remains clear: to ensure that the programs approved by the chamber are faithfully implemented for the benefit of every Filipino,” statement ni Deputy Speaker Hernandez.
