Pinaiksi na lamang ng National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) ang pagsasaayos ng problema sa trabaho sa pagitan ng mga kawani at employers sa loob ng mahigit dalawang linggo sa halip na isang buwan.
Ayon sa Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) ang NLRC sa National Capital Region (NCR) ay naglabas ng bagong panuntunan para sa settlement ng labor and employment disputes.
Sinabi sa isang statement ng DOLE na lahat ng indibidwal na naghain na ng requests for assistance (RFAs) ay ico-cover ng bagong procedures para sa tinatawag na Single Entry Approach (SEnA).
Sa ilalim ng updated NLRC rules, ang Single Entry Approachconciliator-mediator (SEnA Conmed) ay maaring matulungan na magkaroon ng kasunduan sa loob 15 araw sa halip na isang buwan matapos ang request ng magkabilang panig.
“Prior to the assistance of the conciliator-mediator, the responding party may submit a settlement proposal based from the claims of the requesting party,” bahagi ng statement ng DOLE. “If there is no necessity of setting the RFA for conciliation mediation conference, the NLRC said Conmed may motu proprio, and without need of notice, terminate the SEnA proceedings and issue the referral for compulsory arbitration or to the appropriate agency which has jurisdiction over the issues raised.”
