Nagpaabot ng pakikiramay ang Office of the President sa pagpanaw ni dating Senior Deputy Executive Secretary, Atty. Hubert Dominic Guevara nitong Biyernes, Marso 29, 2024.
Si Guevarra ay binawian ng buhay sa edad lamang na 56.
“The Office of the President extends our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of SEC Commissioner and former Senior Deputy Executive Secretary, Atty. Hubert Dominic Guevara, who joined our Creator earlier today. Former SDES Guevara will be remembered for his spirit, dedication, and exemplary service to the Filipino people. He will remain fondly in the memory of all who had the privilege of working with him and calling him a friend,” saad ng mensahe mula sa Office of the President.
Nabatid na nagsilbi siya bilang senior deputy executive secretary sa ilalim ng Office of the President, bago naitalaga bilang commissioner ng Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) noong Marso 1, 2024.
Bago nanilbihan sa gobyerno, natapos niya ang kaniyang bachelor’s degree in legal management sa Ateneo de Manila University, kung saan din niya nakuha ang law degree.
Hindi pa naglalabas ng ibang detalye ang kaniyang pamilya hinggil sa sanhi ng pagpanaw ng dating opisyal.
