Nakapagtala muli ang Department of Health (DOH) ng higit 3,000 bagong kaso ng COVID-19.
Ngayong araw, 3,821 new confirmed cases ang iniulat ng ahensya dahil sa submission ng 105 mula sa 117 na laboratoryo.
Dahil dito umakyat pa sa 248,947 ang kabuuang bilang ng tinamaan ng pandemic na coronavirus sa Pilipinas.
Ayon sa DOH, 12 laboratoryo ang bigong makapag-submit ng kanilang mga datos sa COVID-19 Data Repository System kabilang dito ang mga sumusunod:

- Calamba Medical Center
- Cebu TB Reference Laboratory
- Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital
- Dr. Rafael S. Tumbokon Memorial Hospital
- Green City Medical Center
- Ilocos Training Regional Medical Center (GX)
- Maria Reyna Xavier University Hospital
- NKTI GX
- Philippine Genome Center
- Qualimed Hospital – San Jose del Monte
Mula sa higit 3,000 bagong kaso ng sakit, 86% ang nagpositibo sa nakalipas na 14 na araw.
May mga nai-report din na noon nagpositibo sa pagitan ng Marso at Hulyo.
Pinakamarami ang mula sa National Capital Region, Calabarzon at Central Luzon.
“Of the 3,821 reported cases today, 3,277 (86%) occurred within the recent 14 days (August 28 – September 10, 2020). The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were NCR (1,731 or 53%), Region 4A (661 or 20%) and Region 3 (196 or 6%).”
Ang mga nagpapagaling pa o active cases ay nasa 58,823.
Malaking porsyento nito ang mga mild sa 88.3%, sumunod ang asymptomatic sa 8.8%.
Ang severe cases ay nasa 1.23% at critical cases sa 1.7%.
Samantalang 186,058 na ang total recoveries dahil sa 563 na nadagdag sa mga gumaling.
Habang 80 ang additional sa total deaths na 4,066.
“Of the 80 deaths, 23 occurred in September (29%), 33 in August (41%) 10 in July (12%) 11 in June (14%) and 3 in May (4%).”
Nasa 17 duplicates daw ang tinanggal ng DOH mula sa total case count, kung saan 12 ang recoveries.
“Moreover, there were thirty-six (36) cases that were previously reported as recovered but after final validation, they were deaths (35) and active (1) cases. These numbers undergo constant cleaning and validation.”
