Nanatili sa higit 2,000 ang bilang ng mga nadagdag na kumpirmadong kaso ng COVID-19 sa bansa, batay sa pinaka-bagong datos ng Department of Health (DOH).
Ngayong araw nag-ulat ang ahensya ng 2,180 additional cases ng sakit, kaya umakyat pa ang total ng mga kaso ng COVID-19 sa 296,755. Siyam na laboratoryo lang daw ang hindi nakapag-submit ng report kagabi:

“Of the 2,180 reported cases today, 1,825 (84%) occurred within the recent 14 days (September 11 – September 24, 2020). The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were NCR (617 or 34%), Region 4A (588 or 32%), and Region 6 (156 or 9%).”
Ang mga nagpapagaling naman o active cases ay nasa halos 60,000 pa.
Samantalang nadagdagan ng 580 ang total recoveries na 231,928; at 36 additional sa total deaths na 5,127.
“Of the 36 deaths, 23 occurred in September (64%), 7 in August (19%) 2 in July (6%) 2 in June (6%) 1 in May (3%) and 1 in April (3%). Deaths were from NCR (15 or 42%), Region 6 (7 or 19%), Region 7 (7 or 19%), Region 4A (2 or 6%), Region 1 (1 or 3%), Region 3 (1 or 3%), Region 9 (1 or 3%), Region 12 (1 or 3%), and ROF (1 or 3%).”
Ayon sa DOH, 16 na duplicates ang kanilang inalis sa total case count. Pito sa nasabing bilang ang recoveries.
Nasa 18 recovered cases naman ang pinalitan ng tagging matapos matukoy sa validation na 17 ang patay na at isa ang nagpapagaling pa.
Humingi rin ng dispensa ang Health department matapos i-ulat ang hindi pagsusumite ng COVID-19 report ng Taguig City Molecular Laboratory, dahil pa naman nagsisimulang mag-operate ang pasilidad at nagse-set up pa lang ng kanilang information system.
