Taliwas sa pahayag ng kanyang asawa, lumalabas na wala pang resulta ang Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) test ni dating Sen. “Bongbong” Marcos.
Sa isang statement, nilinaw ng dating mambabatas na mabuti ang kanyang lagay at kasalukuyang naka-home quarantine.
Pinatotohanan din nito ang pahayag ng kanyang kapatid na si Sen. Imee Marcos na nagsabi kamakailan na masama ang pakiramdam nito.
“As my sister said, a few days ago I was feeling a little under the weather and as a result went to get checked. We are still waiting for the results,” ani Marcos.
“Fortunately, I feel much better and am getting stronger day by the day. I have no doubt in my mind that this is partly due to the excellent work of the nurses and doctors who helped me during this time.”
Samantala, nagbigay pugay ang dating senador sa mga health worker na naninilbihan bilang frontliner laban sa COVID-19.
“I am hoping and praying for everyone’s safety and good health. Please don’t let the sacrifices of health workers and other frontliners go to waste. Let us all stay home.”
