Nagbabala ang Food and Drug Administration (FDA) matapos madiskubreng hindi rehistrado ang iba’t-ibang gamot at food products na ibinebenta ngayon sa merkado.
Nasa 25 gamot at food product na gawang China at Hong Kong ang pinangalanan ng FDA sa kanilang advisory. Ilan sa mga ito ay tableta at liquid para sa injection na gamot, eyedrops, hydrochloride gel at mga treatment cream:

- Diclofenac Sodium Sustained-Release Capsules
- Roxithromycin Capsules
- Shyndec® Finasteride Tablets
- Halcinonide Cream 10g
- HaCon Tinidazole Tablets 0.5g
- WZX® Omeprazole Sodium for Injection 40 mg
- OTC Viaminate and Vitamin E Cream
- Neomycin Sulfate and Fluocinonide Cream
- Azithromycin Dispersible Tablets 0.25g
- Cisapride Tablets
- Jucishan® Vitamin C Injection 2ml:0.5g
- OTC Colloidal Bismuth Pectin Capsule
- Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride Cream
- Benzyl Alcohol Injection 2ml:40mg
- Hydrobenzole Hydrochloride Eye Drops 8ml:8mg
- Yunpeng® Tetracycline Tablets
- OTC Compound Salicylic Acid Liniment 15ml
- Levonorgestrel and Quinestrol Tablets

Ayon kay FDA director general Eric Domingo, napatunayan sa isinagawang Post-Marketing Surveillance ng ahensya na hindi dumaan sa prosesoang registration at walang Certificate of Product Registration ang naturang mga gamot at produkto.
Ibig sabihin, iligal ang pagbebenta sa mga naturang produkto at gamot, at maaaring magdulot ng panganib sa kalusugan.
“FDA Post-Marketing Surveillance (PMS) activities have verified that the abovementioned drug products have not gone through the registration process of the Agency.”
“Thus, the Agency cannot guarantee its quality, safety and efficacy. Therefore, consumption of such violative products may pose potential danger or injury to health.”
Sa ilalim ng Republic Act No. 9711, ipinagbabawal ang paggawa, pag-aangkat, pagbebenta, promotion at pamamahagi ng ano mang health products na walang authorization ng FDA.
Makikita sa website ng FDA ang listahan ng mga pinangalanang gamot at food product.
Pinaalalahanan naman ng ahensya ang mga establisyemento na huwag ibenta ang mga naturang produkto at gamot hangga’t walang authorization.
Ang mga local government unit naman at law enforcement agencies ay inaatasang tiyakin na hindi maibebenta sa kanilang mga nasasakupan ang mga ipinagbabawal na gamot at produkto.
“All Local Government Units (LGUs) and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) are requested to ensure that these products are not sold or made available in their localities or areas of jurisdiction.”
Kamakailan nang kumpirmahin ng ahensya na rehistrado na muli ang isang sikat na brand ng liver spread, matapos ianunsyo noong nakaraang buwan na hindi rin ito rehistrado sa FDA.
