Inanunsyo ni Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Sec. Mark Villar na tapos nang itayo ang dalawang units ng modular health facilities sa Quezon Institute compound sa Quezon City.
Nakatakda itong i-turn over ng ahensya sa Department of Health (DOH) ngayong linggo.
Ayon kay Villar, ang modular health facilities na ito na may total bed capacity na aabot sa 44 ay pangangasiwaan ng medical teams mula DOH at Jose Reyes Memorial Hospital.
Ang Quezon Institute Offsite Modular Hospitals at para sa mga moderate to severe COVID-19 patients.
Nagsagawa naman ng ocular inspections sa Quezon Institute compound sa E. rodriguez, Quezon City ang DPWH Task Force for Augmentation of Local and National Health Facilities sa pangunguna ni Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain.
Itu-turn over aniya ang dalawang dormitoryo na ito sa health department bukas.
Ang dormitories para sa medical personnel na mangangasiwa sa operasyon sa Quezon Institute ay mayroong 64 na bed capacity.
May karagdagan pa umano na tatlong units ng modular hospital para sa COVID-19 patients na may 66 bed capacity ang ibibigay naman sa Pebrero 2021.
