A middle aged woman was arrested by airport personnel for allegedly smuggling a 6-year old Filipino child.

A US national women got blocked by the authorities of Ninoy International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on Wednesday.

Airport personnel found out that the woman tried to smuggle a baby through her hand carry baggage at the immigration.

Grifon Medina, Bureau of Immigration’s chief of Port Operations Division, identified the suspect as Jennifer Erin Talbot.

“[The] infant was hidden in the oversized belt bag and (she) did not declare nor present to the immigration inspector during departure formalities,” said the Bureau of Immigration.

Talbot also failed to provide necessary immigration clearance for the baby’s departure.

This is a developing story.
