MANILA – Pinalawig pa ng Supreme Court ang pisikal na pagsasara ng mga korte sa mga lugar na sakop ng tinaguriang “NCR Plus.”

Ayon sa Administrative Order No. 21-2021 na pinirmahan ni bagong Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo, extended hanggang April 18 ang “physical closure” ng mga korte sa National Capital Region, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, at Bulacan.
Maging ang ng judicial offices sa nasabing mga lugar ang pansamantalang sarado.
“Considering the unabated rise of COVID-19 cases, the requests of the judges and court personnel, and upon the concurrence of the members of the Court en banc,” nakasaad sa kauutusan.
“They may be reached through their hotlines and email addresses as posted in the Supreme Court website.”
Nilinaw ng Kataas-taasang Hukuman na mananatili naman ang operasyon ng mga korte sa pamamagitan ng videoconferencing.
Pinapayagan din ang mga huwes na magsagawa ng pagdinig sa kanilang mga kaso sa pamamagitan ng naturang plataporma.
“And on other matters, whether urgent or not, regardless of their physical location and without prior permission from the Office of the Court Administrator.”
Ayon sa Supreme Court, suspendido rin muna ang filing at service of pleadings and motions. Magbabalik lang daw ang operas yon nito kapag pinayagan muling magbukas ang mga korte.
“The essential judicial offices shall maintain the necessary skeleton staff to attend to all urgent matters.”
