The relatives of the 17-year-old who was killed by the police in Paris have appealed to stop their bloody protest actions.
Following the plea of Nahel Merzouk’s grandmother, who stated that the protest actions should come to an end, French President Emmanuel Macron temporarily canceled his trip to other countries.
They feel helpless now that their grandchild has passed away.
This marks the sixth day of protest actions, with over 45,000 police officers deployed on the streets of Paris after protesters set fire to several vehicles and buses.
