Humakot ng awards sa 70th Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) awards night ang pelikulang “Katips”.
Nakuha kasi nito ang Best Picture awards, Best Musical Score, Best Cinamatography ,Best Original Song, Best Supporting acotr – Johnrey Rivas at Best Actor para kay Vince Tañada.
Naiuwi naman ni Mss Charo Santos ang Best actress para sa peliukalang “Kun Maupay Man it Panahon”.
Binigyan naman ng dalawang special awards si national artist Nora Aunor at ito ay ang Susan Roces Celebrity at Ang Pambansang Alagad ng Sining awards.

Best Musical Score: Pipo Cifra for “Katips”
Best Sound: Albert Michael Idioma, Alex J. Tomboc, Pietro Marco S. Javier for “A Hard Day”
Best Visual Effects: Santelmo Studio for “My Amanda”
Best Short Film: “See You George!” for Mark Moneda
Lifetime Achievement Awardee: Tessie Agana
