Nagsagawa ng aerial surveillance ang Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) kahapon March 21,2022.

Ito ay bilang bahagi ng programang Environmental Assessment Against Illegal Fish Cages and Encroachments sa buong stretch ng Pasig River at Laguna de Bay.

Ang nasabing aerial surveillance ay pinangunahan nina Coast Guard District NCR-Central Luzon (CGDNCR-CL) Commander, CG Commodore Hostillo Arturo Cornelio; Pasig River Coordinating Management Office (PRCMO) Chairperson, Assistant Secretary Joan Lagunda; ar Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) Assistant General Manager Generoso Dungo.

Ang isinagawang environmental assessment laban sa illegal fish cages at encroachments ay bahagi ng PCG’s developmental plans and capability enhancement para panatilihin ang marine environmental protection.

Samantala, bilang patunay sa malakas at patuloy na partnership, ang DENR ay nakatakdang mag donate ng five-hectare lupain sa Taguig para sa PCG.

Ang nasabing land area ay isang strategic location para sa pag monitor ng mga barko na dumadaan sa Pasig River at Laguna de Bay.
