Bukas ang Office of the Vice President (OVP) sa imbestigasyon na isasagawa kaugnay sa alegasyong hindi awtorisadong paggamit ng Confidential Fund ng opisina nito noong fiscal year 2022.
“The seething disdain overwhelming France Castro these days is hardly concealed even by her capacity to string serious allegations against the Office of the Vice President over the 2022 Confidential Fund.
We welcome the probe she recommended for the Commission on Audit to do on the 2022 OVP CF.”, VP added.
Ginawa ng OVP ang naturang pahayag kasunod ng statement ni House Deputy Minority Leader at ACT Teachers Rep. France Castro na plano nilang maghain ng impeachment complaint laban sa Bise Presidente dahil sa posibleng multiple violations nito sa paggamit ng P125 million sa confidential funds noong 2022 na wala naman aniyang awtorisasyon mula sa Kongreso.
Nabulgar ito sa budget hearing ng Commission on Audit kung saan isiniwalat ng komisyon na mayroong P125 milion confidential funds noong 2022 ang OVP matapos na maupo sa pwesto si Duterte.
“But today, Ms. Castro doesn’t deserve an explanation because she did not come to class prepared — like a good teacher.
All she did was wildly and masterfully arrange some allegations against me and the OVP, which will all be answered once the probe is done and during the budget hearing.”
Ang ginawa lamang aniya ng mambabatas ay magbato ng mga alegasyon sa kaniya at sa OVP na masasagot aniya sa oras na matapos ang imbestigasyonm at sa kasagsagan ng budget hearing.
