ILOILO CITY – Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles assured that they are now thinking of possible solutions on how to end insurgency in Western Visayas.
The statement came after a forum was held in Iloilo City where officials from Regional Development Council and Regional Peace and Order Council attended.
In an interview of Bombo Radyo Iloilo with Nograles, he said that his team focuses on peace and order situation in the region.
He added that issues on mass transportation, power supply, and widening of ports are also being discussed.
Nograles noted that such meetings being held will help to encourage more investors and jobs in the said region.
This was also part of President Rodrigo Duterte’s directives to bring massive developments in order to give aid to the poverty-stricken place. He also said that all tackled issues will be a priority in Cabinet meetings.
