Kinumpirma ng Malakanyang ang appointment ni Batangas Rep. Ralph Recto bilang bagong kalihim ng Department of Finance.
Ayon kay Presidential Communications Sec. Cheloy Garafil, manunumpa si Recto kay Pang. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa Palasyo bukas.
Papalitan ni Recto sa DOF si Sec. Benjamin Diokno.
Hindi pa malinaw kung saan ililipat si Diokno o kung may hahawakan itong bagong posisyon sa gobyerno.
Kasabay nito, sinabi ni Garafil na nakatakda ring manumpa kay Pang. Marcos si Frederick Go bilang Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs.
” Rep. Ralph Recto and Frederick Go are scheduled to take their oath tomorrow before President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. as Secretary of Finance and Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs, respectively,” mensahe ni PCO Sec. Cheloy Garafil.
