Iniakyat pa ng PAGASA sa Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 ang ilang lugar sa Luzon dahil sa patuloy na pagkilos ng Tropical Depression Quinta.
Batay sa severe weather bulletin ngayong alas-5:00 ng umaga, huling namataan ang sentro ng bagyo sa 345-kilometer silangan ng Virac, Catanduanes. Kumikilos naman ito pa-kanluran sa bilis na 20-kilometers per hour.
Ang lakas naman ng hangin nito ay bumilis pa sa 65-kilometers per hour, at pagbugsong lumakas pa sa 80-kilometers per hour.
“Afterwards, it will traverse the Southern Luzon area until tomorrow afternoon or evening, then turn more west-northwestward over the West Philippine Sea.”
Ayon sa PAGASA, mamayang hapon hanggang gabi inaasahan ang pagtama sa lupa ni Quinta sa Catanduanes, Albay at Sorsogon. Posibleng sa Martes ng susunod na linggo raw lumabas ng Philippine Area of Responsibility ang bagyo.

Asahan daw ang mahina hanggang katamtaman at malalakas na ulan sa mga nabanggit na lugar. Pimag-iingat naman ang mga nakatira malapit sa flood at landslide-prone areas dahil sa pagbuhos ng ulan.
“Gale conditions will be experienced in areas under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) #2 while strong breeze to near gale conditions will be experienced in areas under TCWS #1. Potential impacts of these wind conditions to structures and vegetation are detailed in the TCWS section of this bulletin.”
“In other areas, strong breeze to gale conditions will also prevail over Batanes, Babuyan Islands, and the northern coastal areas of Ilocos Norte and mainland Cagayan due to the northeasterly surge.”
