Despite having an ugly week after a huge altercation that saw Draymond Green punching Jordan Poole.

The Golden State Warriors somehow managed to keep the fans happy as Stephen Curry made a kind-of passing of the torch to Jordan Poole, who was the best free-throw shooter in the NBA last season.

Pool shot 92.5 percent from the line edging Curry by 0.2 percent [92.3].

“Me and Steph talked about it at the beginning of the year, and one of my goals was to shoot 90 (percent). So being able to have the best free throw shooter in the gym every day with me…it’s pretty awesome,” said Poole.

The two had a great laugh and a hug during the awarding.

Poole had a breakout season, and much is expected from him in their title defense; however, healing is the thing he needed the most right now after what Green quoted as a “huge embarrassment” not only for him but for Poole and his family and the team.
