Kinumpirma ng Department of Health (DOH) na may Pilipinong gumaling na mula sa higit 100 kaso ng coronavirus disease (COVID-19) sa bansa.
Siya ay si PH14 na isang 46-year old na lalaking mula Makati City.
“Who manifested with cough and fever on February 25, 2020. He was admitted March 5, 2020 at Makati Medical Center, and was confirmed with COVID-19 on March 9, 2020. The patient is now asymptomatic and tested negative twice for COVID-19 prior to discharge.”
“While this is a very welcome development, there is no reason for us to be complacent. In order to contain the virus, we may also need to extend community quarantine to other areas of the country. We need the public to cooperate with us now more than ever, and serve as our partners in ensuring that the spread of COVID-19 is put a halt. Let us all act fast and act now,” ani Health Sec. Francisco Duque.
Samantala, nadagdagan naman ng dalawa ang bilang ng positive cases kaya 142 na ang total na bilang nila.
Kinilala si PH141 na isang lalaking 63-year old na naka-admit sa The Medical City. Habang si PH142 ay isang 50-year old male at kasalukuyang naka-admit sa reporting facility ng RESU-NCR.
Nananatili naman sa 12 ang death toll.
