MANILA – Sumampa na sa higit 1-million ang kabuuang bilang ng mga tinamaan ng pandemic na coronavirus disease (COVID-19) sa Pilipinas.
Kasunod ito ng pag-uulat ng Department of Health (DOH) sa 8,929 na bagong kaso ng sakit ngayong araw ng Lunes, April 26.
Sa kabuuan, aabot na sa 1,006,428 ang total COVID-19 cases sa bansa.
“2 labs were not operational on April 24, 2021 while 9 labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS).”
Batay sa datos ng ahensya, nasa 16.7% ang positivity rate o bilang ng mga nag-positibo mula sa 45,863 na nagpa-test kahapon.
Tuluyan namang bumaba ang bilang ng active cases o mga nagpapagaling na nasa 74,623.
Dahil ito sa 11,333 na bagong gumaling. Ang total recoveries ngayon ay nasa 914,952 na.
Nadagdagan naman ng 70 ang total deaths, na ngayon ay nasa 16,853 na.
“23 duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 18 are recoveries.”
“In addition, 1 case was found to have tested negative and has been removed from the total case count. The case was a recovery.”
“Moreover, 27 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation.”
