Hinimok ngayon ni Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo ang Philippine Bar Association (PBA) na suportahan ang mga reporma sa Supreme Court (SC).
Sinabi ni Gesmundo na hiniling din niya sa PBA ang pagbibigay ng awareness sa mga reform sa ilalim ng Strategic Plan for Judicial Innovations 2022-2027 (SPJI).
Malaki umanong tulong sa Korte Suprema ang suporta ng PBA dahil sa panagawan na rin sa mga miyembro nitong yakapin ang makabagong teknolohiya.
“I know the focus now of the PBA is not just to remain resilient amidst emerging challenges, but to stay relevant, especially in the face of evolving technology… I am happy to see that we are one in this goal. My hope is that the PBA helps lead the way as we advance these innovations across the entire judiciary. In particular, I hope the PBA can lend its resources, expertise, and networks to raise awareness about the reforms we are pursuing,” ani Gesmundo.
Ayon sa SC, ang SPJI ay ang institutional blueprint ng Court En Banc plans at programs para sa responsive at real-time justice.
Inaprubahan ito ng korte noong June 28, 2022 sa ilalim ng A.M. No 22-04-26-SC.
