With few days left before the season trade deadline, high-flyer forward Aaron Gordon made a last-minute request for the Orlando Magic, a trade.

Currently, the Magic sit as the second-worst team in the Eastern Conference, and the 25-year old wanted to be traded in a competing NBA team.

According to reports, six teams are showing their interest in Gordon after the news broke out. Magic’s asking price for the 6-foot-8 forward is two first-round picks in the NBA draft.

“Aaron Gordon is ready for a relocation, as sources tell The Athletic that he asked Orlando Magic president of basketball operations Jeff Weltman for a trade through his representative in February,” said Jared Weiss and Sam Amick of The Athletic.

The request is reasonable given that Gordon developed his game from a highlight dunking machine into an all-around baller.

The athleticism of Gordon can give a lot of opportunity for the team that will win him over.

He is averaging 14.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.2 assists in the season. What’s even better is that he is yet to reach his prime.

The Boston Celtics, Portland Trail Blazers, Denver Nuggets, and the Golden State Warriors are among the playoff-contending teams interested in Gordon.

Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets and the Minnesota Timberwolves are interested in acquiring Gordon as they continue their rebuilding process.
