CENTRAL MINDANAO-Pormal ng nanumpa si Cotabato Vice-Governor at Governor-elect Emmylou “Lala” Taliño-Mendoza kay Presiding Judge Lily Lydia Laquindanum.
Si Mendoza ay ika-25 na Governor ng probinsya ng Cotabato matapos talunin nito sa nakaraang eleksyon si incumbent Governor Nancy Catamco.
Kasamang nanumpa ni Mendoza ang kanyang asawa na si TUCP Congressman Attorney Raymond Democrito Cañete-Mendoza at anak nito na si Cotabato 3rd District Congresswoman Elect Samantha Alana Taliño-Santos.
Naging emosyunal naman si Congresswoman Elect Santos sa kanyang panalo,mga pinagdaan na magamit ang tagumpay,suporta ng pamilya at Taumbayan.
Nanumpa din sina Congressman-elect Rudy Caoagdan (2nd District) at ilang mga Provincial Board Members na kaalyado ni Mendoza na sina Sittie Eljori Antao-Balisi, Atty. Roland Jungco, Joseph Evangelista, Ryl John Caoagdan, Ivy Martia Lei Ballitoc, Jonathan Tabara at Joemar Cerebo.
Special guest ni Mendoza ang asawa ni Vice-President elect Sara Duterte Carpio na si Atty Mans Carpio.
Halos lahat ng mga tagasuporta,mga kaibigan,mga kaalyadong local officials sa probinsya ang dumalo sa aktibidad na ginanap sa Provincial Capitol Gymnasium Barangay Amas Kidapawan City.
Sinabi ni Governor Mendoza“As I take my oath today as the 25th Governor of the great Province of Cotabato, I bear in mind that this day did not come easy. This is a product of a tough process– a distillation of my unwavering desire to serve, love for country and heaviest of all– the trust of the people whom I have served almost all my life.
Sa aking pagharap ulit sa hamon, dala ko ang hirap na ating pinagdaanan, ang mga pagsubok na ating nasuong at ang mga pangarap na atin pang tutuparin.
I could have not done it without you. Today, we will continue writing our great story. Tara, let us sustain the gains of Serbisyong Totoo.
Panawagan ni Mendoza sa taumbayan na silay tulungan para mabigyan sila ng Serbisyong Totoo at sa pag-upo nito sa pwesto Lalakas at Lalago muli ang probinsya ng Cotabato.
