Nagkasundo umano ang mga senador na bumuo pa ng dalawang bagong posisyon sa Senado habang halaos kompleto na ang mga committee chairmanships.

Ayon kay incoming Senate President Migz Zubiri, pumayag ang kanyang mga kasamahan na magkaroon ng dalawang senior deputy majority floor leaders.

Ang mga ito ay tatayong assistant majority leaders.

Isa umano sa napipisil ay si Sen. JV Ejercito na maging isa sa assistant majority leaders.

Una nang napaulat na si Sen. Joel Villanueva ang magiging bagong Senate majority leader sa pagbubukas ng 19th Congress.

Samantala iniulat din naman ni Zubiri na siyang Senate president protempore na mapupunta na kay Senator Francis Tolentino ang Senate blue ribbon committee.

Una nang lumabas ang impormasyon na ito sana ang komite na gusto ng nagbabalik na si Sen Alan Peter Cayetano.

Sa kabila nito, kakausapin pa rin daw ni Zubiri si Cayetano na umanib sa kanila sa super majority.

Ang naturang dagdag na posisyon sa Senado ay hindi na bago sa Kamara dahil naging kalakaran na ito sa pagtatalaga ng iba pang mga puwesto lalo na sa mga komite.
